What The World Needs Now With Wendy Lands, is an interactive time-trip time that’s part historical, part autobiographical, and part prime time TV special – circa 1960-Something!
Wendy Lands exhibits her talents as a singer/actor/writer and improviser in this time trip, chock full of vintage hits. Backed by her killer band, Lands weaves funny, nostalgic and bittersweet monologues between moving performances of vintage pop-songs from the swingin’ ‘60s, into the sweet and soulful ‘70s. Including songs made famous by: Dusty, Dionne, Petula, Barbra, Carol, Carly, The Carpenters and more.
